A downloadable game for Windows

Fishy Town is a resource manager where players will fish in order to upgrade their boats and village. Created by a small team of Game Developers called Loose Change. Expand your fishing village and become the number one fishing location.

This game was made using Unity Engine with the help of two programmers and two artists. The game expands on important world issues involving fishing, and aims to grant the player insight into this issue.

Really cool game that gets the message across quite well. Although near the end it is almost impossible to get any fish, with only getting $400 in about 20 minutes.

The art style is so pleasant to look at, which shows quite a good contrast to the meaning expressed at the end of the game.

The amount of fish you get is linked with the state of the ocean. This is an intended mechanic but perhaps we could speed up the respawn rate or how quickly it ends after getting to that state.

The dock, shop, and coins are cut off on my screen with max resolution of 1600x900
